I agree with Adams. This is one of my O.K. Streamliners. It is a 60' Coach. They also came in 80'.

I would say they are not OK Herkimer sides, really not sure what exactly they are? The bodies on the OK Herkimer and Kaisner aluminium passenger cars were one piece both sides and top. They did have the same metal ends on the OK Herkimer but not the Kaisners.

You could look under Blue Line, American Beauty, and JC Models they also made metal sides for their passenger cars.

I guess it was either my eye's, the picture or both. My mistake. Must be staring at the computer screen too much lately.

Here is a link to OK Herkimer's Website.
http://www.okengines.com/

Just in case anyone is interested, I have added the following Tyco Literature to HOseeker.net. (1962 Flier, 1959 Catalog, 1969 Catalog, 1969 Sales List and an unknown sales list) The unknown sales list maybe from the early sixties because of K in the kit numbers. (63-64)

Looks you solved the passenger car mystery.

Ken this may interest you?

Do you think this is an upgrade for the Varney A/B you have pictured? Might give you something else to look for.

just noticed something,4 are tarnised and weigh 2 5/8 ounces or 74 grams each is an alloy but do not think aluminium and the body sides are thinner, the 4 bright ones weigh 4 1/4 ounces or 122 grams for same length, but all have patent pending on inside of roof ken
any recomendations on cleaning the tarnished ones gratefully accepted
top one is thicker and heavier,as well as body width being wider,as well as the arches above where trucks would be are different, also the aluminiym ones are very much like silver in colour wheras the others have a brassy tinge

the top one is aluminium, bottom is a bit brassy

the hardboard floor fits the groves for floor perfectly
