I went to my local hobby shop today and saw somethin interesting. In the display case with pics of the shop and old merchandise from the 50's through 80's, there was a model train box that said "Silver Streak" across the front. I'm not sure who makes it or if there is even anything in the box. Does anyone know what this could be???

I know it isn't Tyco.

Tyco did indeed make a Silver Streak trainset. It came with an Alco C430 locomotive in chrome and red paint.

I know that Tyco made a Silver Streak but this box was not Tyco, nor was it long enough for a silver streak engine.
