When I spoke to Larry back in April, he said that he was having the site moved to a new server and would be back up in the next few weeks. I didn't know what he meant, because it was still up at the time. Maybe he's moving it now.The Tyco Depot

Larry shut down the old forum because there were so few members actually posting. He said he was trying to transfer it over to the new URL. I'm not sure why the whole site changed to .org...probably cuz the ".org" is cheaper, and hoseeker.net had a massive amount of catologs and instructions (and other stuff[:D]). But we all know it as "hoseeker.net" so thats prolly why the name is the same.

This is the reason I am in the process of moving the HOseeker.net to a new sever. The reliablity of Ipower hosting company has become so bad that the website seems to be down more then it is up. Their contract expires in February. The new hosting that I contracted with seems to have a better record of staying on line. The transfer of the HOseeker.net to .org is just about complete except for the forum which I am having problems with. Between now and February the .net will become part of .org. I will have two Internet addresses .net and .org. and the site will be accessible typing in both addresses.
This transfer is taking much longer then I expected.
In the last month nearly 1500 pages of new material has been added to the .org address. Most of which has been contributed to the website by others.
Hope this helps everyone out on the status of HOseeker. http://www.hoseeker.org/lit.html updates A-C Athearn/Globe AHM/Rivarossi Instructions Balboa Bachmann Laconia/Binkley Campbell Bowser Canadian Railway Collectors Corner Display Craft E & C Shops Famoco Gilbert / American Flyer Hallmark Highliner Hobbyline Ideal JC Models Katsumi Kawai Kemtron Kurtz Kraft Labelle LeHigh Models Lindsay Lionel HO L.
