Here is a sneak peak of a project i have been working on. It is not complete[:D]
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2FzHXxfq9Wo
NOTE = Special Thanks to DaCheez[:D] as he is working on one also and i emailed him before posting as i did not want him or anyone to think that we / I- stole each others idea. My version is different as is his. I wanted to make sure i wasn't doing a loco in same color scheme.

Thats pretty nifty. Is that light and siren for HO and or Matchbox size cars? How much do they run?

Thanks RC and mytyco.
mytyco -- the sirens are added sound effects to the video clip -- trying to find the electronics manufacturer that makes the recoradable sound chip. I seen it in MRR i beleive where you record the sound from computer. It was very compact and could be battery powered. I think it was around $9.99 but not for sure on price. The strobes are going to be battery powered with a magnetic reed switch activator. The strobes are from Miniatronics (about $20.00 and come with 3. Colors are varialbe also) and come with the lenses. Will post a completed loco video soon. If i were to sell one -- it would run around $65.00 due to the lights. If i find the sound chip--would be higher. I ordered the police decals online. They are 1/18 scale i believe and work perfect

Honest Officer Brian, I had no idea I was going that fast. You say you clocked me at notch 8?
Very very cool. Love the font used for the graphics. That will be so neat on the rails. A fresh and fun concept.

Very nice, love those interesting projects...will it reach warp 8 speed, if not adjust those dilitieum crystals a touch more to make sure they are in syn....Garret
ps... Now that's an idea...how about a enterprise train...with engine pods off the back sides, sort of saucer shaped front and a cool bridge type cab...naturally it would have to have the numbers for the enterprise on it....may have to play with that idea a little, just another project...Garret

| In the U.S., I've never seen a police loco, but I've seen cabooses painted for, and used by, the railroad police. I've seen them for SP in particular...I think Athearn or somebody actually offered that paint scheme on a bay-window caboose.

You'll need to get one of those old AHM watermelon cars to use as the paddywagon car...[;)]

Gareth...i am game...would need a little time, but think it would be fun...I would believe that the group could come up with some wild things...leave it to the imagination of some our "twisted" minds...Garret

G-I-C -- Will have to find one of those cars. Athearn mada a JailBox car in 1984. It was a RailBox car modified into a jail on rail and the lettering changed to JailBox and had a slogan of Next Time Any crime Do the Time. Wish i would have bought one.
NP = No chasing of railfans
Ken = I know of no US RR with an actual Police Locomotive, but as Adams said--there are cabooses that exist.
Alco Fan = Thanks for the comment. 'Yes clocked you at notch 8" now pull over!! L-O-L
If Tyco would have made a train like this -- would have probably sold out quickly. Glad to read that some more ideas have been concocted from this.
Romcat = Great idea on the Fantasy trains. So what are you guys waiting on? Lets see them on here. I'm waitng. Have Fun as i am doing your loco[:D]

Hey Brian. Like I said in my PM your Police Train looks great. Can't wait to see it running.
Gareth: I like your idea for a fantasy loco contest. I have several custom painted engines...only one really falls under "fantasy locos" though.
