Anyone know if IHC is going to produce some of the old tyco lighted structures? I've heard rumor that they are or have but haven't seen any of them on their web site.

IHC did run the majority of the former TYCO Lighted Buildings a few years back. The IHC examples are in kit form and not ready-built as TYCO did them.
Reviewing IHC's website, I still see the Church...

and Factory...

If I'm thinking right, IHC maybe ran everything but the Union 76 Service Station in this recent offering.

| You are correct Tony. The 76 station was not produced --- possibly a trademark or copyright issue with the name.

I picked up one of each (89 cars total) in 2000, just before IHC sold out. There were long hi-cubes, covered hoppers, 40ft. chemical tankers, ACF hoppers, 50ft. plugs, 40ft. hoppers, and the old-style wide vision cabeese. Blended in with Tyco billboard rolling stock, it was a GIANT yard filler, close to 400 cars!
The paint jobs were outstanding; crisp, accurate & colorful.
What Mr. Bernie Paul did not have on hand in PA, he directed me to 2 wholesalers (in CA and IL) that purchased the entire series in bulk (one dozen cars to a flat).
I got lucky...about two months after I made the first purchase, I went back for round two...and all but 4 styles were sold out. The chemical tankers sold out first, according to Mr. Paul.
He also mentioned (again in 2000) that he had no intentions of running any billboard cars utilizing the Tyco molds and dies, reminiscent of the '70's Tyco era, and doubted he would run his new line of rolling stock again, once sold out.
If you didn't get 'em all at one time, it's a booger-bear trying to piecemeal the entire line of 89 cars.

| About a year before they closed up shop, I e-mailed asking for a set of the instructions for the track cleaning caboose. The woman that e-mailed me back wanted me to send a check for $4.95 for a one page photocopy of the sheet! Postage and handling!!!

| I believe they went out of business just before this past Christmas. I tried calling their number to order some passenger car interiors when the website wasn't working and the number was disconnected. The guy at my LHS said that he couldn't get a hold of anyone there either.

The IHC guys at the train show after Thanksgiving told me they'd been there the week prior, and the place was virtually closed down. They were telling me for a while that this was coming, due to the failing health of Bernie Paul.
