Ken--those look like they are 1 generation Tyco as they have loop - n - hook couplers. The loco probably has a better made motor than later tyco's[:D]

yeah buddy, that loco looks like a/the "Lil' Six" like I have. Mine is the Mantua version. It runs squeaky clean, too.

If you own one of these, congrats! You'll be pleased with it.

John
I don't have a one track mind. It depends on the turn-out. "I love your catenary!" Is that a power-trip or just another pick-up line?

I've got the caboose, except it has 'periods' in between each letter, and I've got the loco, except mine is lettered for SP. Clean and oiled, won't find a better-running little loco--all metal, very heavy. The little six and 0-4-0 Booster are same loco, just eliminate the rear drivers. Surprised the lettering in the pic is so clear, as it often wears off with age.

Maybe someone else here with more experience with selling and Ebay could say. I would say that the TYCO lettering would make them more desireable than otherwise, but you'd have to get the right buyer. An average loco and caboose like that might fetch $30 (just a wild guess). I paid only $2 for my caboose. I've never done much with my caboose, as it has the hook and loop coupler on one end, and a horn-hook on the other. Needs to be fixed to bring back to original. I think it needs a smoke jack also. Ken--if you are looking for a caboose like that, PM me..it's yours for all the help you've given me.
