I bought a big box of old RMC's over the weekend and browsing through a toy show report found a photo of a mock-up of a gas station model caption claiming it was an upcoming Revell HO issue. The kit was to come in several liveries, I think the illustrated one was Union 76, but I'd have to look at the picture again to be sure.
Being so late for Revell production and that I've never seen one looking anything like the photo in later AHM or Con-Cor issues of the other structures, I have to believe it never was actually produced - but has anyone seen one? I can dig out the issue and post a picture if anyone would like.

This was displayed as a mock-up at the 1962 Hobby Industry Association Of America trade show in Chicago. Pic appears on page 31 of the April '62 RMC. Station is contemporary for 1962, a boxy brick building with pump canoy and large sign, shown in Union 76 but claimed as coming in several regional brand names. But did it ever get past this point? I've never seen one.
