in britain we have this over a metre in length, does anyone else mass produce a large bridge this is not meant as a challenge for size but something different from the standard girder bridge ken http://www.hornby.com/buildings-and-accessories-172/grand-suspension-bridge-r8008/product.html /tyco/forum/uploaded/catfordken/r8008-2331.jpg ps the large loops on the bridge are height gauges

| Back in 2001, Overland Models put out a full size model of the Cisco bridge in HO scale that is approximately 12 feet long. Can't seem to find any images though.

Hi Ken,
First of all, I'm looking for that bridge or any large suspension bridge similar to that you pictured. I believe a company named Hoffman (possibly bought up by AHM or Atlas, that sticks in my mind, not sure why) made a suspension bridge also. It's very similar or possibly the same, it's been a while since I've seen it.
What I DO have is 2 of the Kibri 9610 Flexible bridge kits. Each kit will form a single track overhead or EL type structure and it can be built in just about any configuration that's reasonable. Each kit has enough materials to span 5' or 1.5+ meters. It's similar to a deck girder with iron railing up top to act as a "fence".
I'm still looking for more of those as my layout will have a rather large section resembling New York City.

Yes, at the right price. It would depend on condition of the bridge, how much spare change I have at the time. I see these go for over $100 quite easily, maybe one day there will be one sitting in a garage sale for much less than that. You never know. I'll snag one when the time is right.
