I hate to be a wet blanket, but both these motors are far too large for the PT trucks, and for most HO scale locos. I have a lot of the second type pulled from VCR's (loading motors), but they are too wide to fit inside even the widest shells.
The first motor has an even larger diameter, and the lower half rotates with the shaft.
About the only motor I've seen on All Electronics that might fit is this one, but it still has a too low voltage rating.

Guys do not buy these even at 1.25 each...I have access to about a half dozen of these at this time....with more coming in every so often. These motors are used in hands free soap dispensers where I work and we have about 280 of them in service right now and we might be changing over to another type.
If anybody wants a couple let me know and Ill send them to you and the reduction gears too that might come in handy for your remotoring projects.
All I ask is that you send me the postage back when you get the chance.
