Here is my collection of mint chrome tank cars from Tyco. All of these were first introduced in 1977. While no prototype of these in chrome actually existed-they are colorful-shiney attention getters. The tank cars in the chrome begin with numbers 367-B STP / 367-C Shell / 367-D Texaco.

367- B = STP mint

367 - C = Shell

367 - D = Texaco

Hey,

Those are some nice tanks you got there. Great chrome condition. I hope you get the rest. I only have the Shell tank at this point.

The missing one is #367-A, Sunoco.

The bad thing about all these cars is that they scuff, chip, and blemish very easily. The neat thing about these cars is that they are molded of a semi-translucent white plastic. I have another STP in poor shape and I am going to strip it just for fun: it might even look radioactive under a black light.

G-I-C--Thanks for posting the Sunoco--I do HAVE that car mint. I was tired when i posted this as i had worked 14 hrs previuosly. These are hard to find in mint condition now. I was lucky last year and racked up on Ebay mint ones listed. Most of the ones i bid on--no one else bid. I have a good collection of these--none for sell though.

mytyco--Thanks. I do have the Sunoco car--just forgot to list it--G-I-C to the rescue though[:D]

uh, [}:)]
the hobby shop I frequent has "Mantua Classics" with that Sunoco tank car.
However, it is in the color black.
Has anyone else seen these?

I thought Mantua was gone and no longer in production.

John

I don't have a one track mind. It depends on the turn-out.
"I love your catenary!"
Is that a power-trip or just another pick-up line?
