This is a picture of one of my first layouts. It is a 4x8 sheet of plywood with an oval of track built in 1985 and life-like/ tyco structures. From left of photo-Tyco Dougs Drug store-Tyco Howard Johnsons--Life-like bank, police and fire station-Bachmann Toy and Hobby shop and Tyco Arlee station, Exxon station, and Pizza Hut. Model power's Hotel in back and the house in far right is a patal kit. The locomotive is an Athearn Family Lines SD40-2 and MDC Seaboard System hopper with real rocks in it. Vehicles=Matchbox

Classic 4x8 layout! Reminds me of the one I had in my Grandma's basement in the '70s. Very Similar to yours right down to set up and selection of kits.

Hey Brian. Awesome layout. Looks kinda like the one I took down a few months ago. I used to have a hopper with real rocks in it...I had one with easter eggs too, but my friends ate them all.[B)]

Very Nice Brian. Was the town patterned after a one you were familiar with? Either way I'm sure it was fun!

That's a very cool action packed layout. Like what others have said, it looks alot like the layout I set up in the basement years back. Oh the hours of fun we had.....and the hours of fun we still have with model trains! :)

I like those layouts, kind of like going back to your roots, be it Lionel, Flyer or Tyco. Too Cool...
