hi guys as you may know we in uk are starved of choice when it comes to tyco,have had a quick look on tyco site but cannot find this any help will be gratefully received ken
 set 930 uploading set from 1971/80 is the nearest i can find am i right ken

Ken: It is, indeed, the CBQ Freight unloading box car, no. 930. Your example is a later version, sporting the classic "Brown box" closed stirrups. The early ones have the same open stirrups as the regular box car series but they seem to have been rather quickly replaced with the far-less fragile closed design. Are your two freight handlers reposing inside? (I can't tell from the pic). MagAc

Ken: Given what a US dollar buys these days there aren't many Tyco collect-tots stateside who wouldn't pony up "less than a dollar" for the car you purchased. I don't think there are a lot of operating cars, regardless of scale, to be had so inexpensively. Good purchase on either side of the pond. MagAc

| bought item for 25p at a boot sale/jumble sale,at that price it could have been missing its wheels,just glad to get anything this side of pond,as stated earlier its the postage from states that kills any bargains unless you really want it ken
