First off, does anyone have a picture of a layout similar to this from the late 60's or early 70's. Perhaps in an old magazine or advertisement. That is when I think this was made. The layout was a display in a Houston, TX hobby/department store 40 yrs ago. A prominent Houston Dentist bought it for his kids and when he passed away recently his estate sold off his stuff. This woman in TX knew of the set and the dentist and bought it from him and kept it for the last 10 or so years. Here is a picture of some of the pieces. It is 48" x 96" when assembled. -Bob

I am not sure why no one has replied to you yet Bob but there are pictures (though I honestly do not know if they are of the same layout that you have) on the Tyco collectors page: http://tycotrain.tripod.com/tycotrains/id69.html
Hope this helps!

| Bob, This is a factory dealer layout from 1955. I have one too and I have the dealer literature that explains how to set it up and what should be on it. It may have been ofered again after 1955 but my papers are dated for that year. Its a neat item. Mine is in storage as it was never set up and I currently have no space for it.
