Help!! I have rebuilt the tender for the 638 Chattanooga and removed the bugs from the engine. I only see 2 thin lines going to the engine for the light and heater. The tender doesn't seem to have any way to receive any hot rail power to make the motor run. I have rebuilt the motor and checked it out all O.K. but all I need is power. Can you help me?? Carl.

Power is picked up by the tender wheels and chassis from one rail. The locomotive wheels and frame pick up power from the other rail and is fed to the motor through one of the wires coming from the locomotive. The other wire runs from the tender chassis, to the light and smoke unit. The other wires from the light and smoke unit go to the locomotive frame.
