Only... MUCH cooler, WITHOUT the bitter aftertaste and dental bills...

Yes, that is the Canadiana Shark, in the flesh plastic! And it is MUCH more interesting than I would have figured.

For one, the colors are indeed different, as you can hopefully see them: the 430 is more "vivid" and bright while the Shark is a deeper, true Red.

But I was expecting a simple re-use of tampos and masks - as if they snuck a few Sharks into the run - yet this is NOT the case. The red stripes are narrower on the Shark, and the "Canadiana 1867" is much larger, unique to itself.

Finally, look at the nice, big Maple Leaf on the Shark. When you look at the 430... it seems to be more of an amorphous blob by comparison, no? BUT THAT'S NOT ALL: the tiny white maple leaves are different, too!!

This Shark is missing a nose decal, which would make it one of the very few not to have one. Sadly, I have no way of knowing if if there should be, but the 430's would be too big to fit.

Really a spiffy pair... photographed separately; I will have to get a proper side-by-side shot staged soon.

(and now I only need the A-Team to stock the lake... [}:)] )

Enjoy...

Those trucks on the Shark look hilarious! On the other hand the 430 looks lke it has an almost ghostly "Toronto" aura to it!? [:o)]

Very nice Canadiana locomotives you have there! I`ll keep my eyes peeled for an A-Team shark. The A-Team was cool . I always wondered haow they fored so many bullets and never hit anything ( not even with a ricochet ).
