Hi Guys...
May need a lil help here...
Just got an Alco C 430(?) on ebay for $6.00
If I remember correctly (I had one in the 80's)..it had a ROCO (Austria/Atlas) drive...am I correct?..It ran pretty good
It has yellow horns....thats my only concern....
The pics were good....I'll put up a pic when it arrives...Did I get a good engine is my question.
Thanx all

AHM did import a ROCO made loco. But it was an Alco C424 and was available in Jersey Central. The C424 is actually a very good loco. It has only the front truck powered, but came with a very nice 5 pole open frame motor. As long as the motor is in good shape, you should have a nice runner! If the motor is bad, it is easily replaced by a flat sided can motor.
