Hi guys!

Everyone knows I'm a bit of an Alco freak so I thought I'd come up with a fairly rare model of a Canadian Alco nee: Montreal Locomotive Works Unit.
This is an MLW RS10, yes you heard right a "10". Mechanically very much an RS3 but with a 1600hp motor. Notice the lack of telltale Alco "Notches" on the top-ends of the long and short hoods!?

The model was made by Life-Like Proto 1000 and they made only 288 of this one, of which mine is #4.

I'm struggling on whether to take it out of the box and run it, which is a moot point at present since I have no layout.

So here are the Pics and they are nice pics which should tell you guys I didn't shoot them but rather the seller!

OK, guys. Get yours posted... looking forward to it!

I had an opportunity to get one of these for $20 along with a lot of M track and tinplate cars. It is an HO scale Marklin CCS800 Swiss "Krocodil" from the late 40s, early 50s. The old man simply wanted to get rid of them. As much as I've wanted one of these over the years, I could not in good conscience take the offer without letting him know what he had (about $1000 for the loco alone). That, of course, closed any thoughts of selling it so low to me but, I do have a picture of it set out by my shop to damp my tears with...sigh...

hey Ray & Shaygetz:

ShayGetz:
Love the "Croc" one of very few Euro Loco's I'm drawn to. The Marklin BR-160 Switcher, the little Fleischmann Centercab, and the French 1200 Long Steeplecab 12000 series and of cpurse the Croc!

Ray:
The RS-11 is always in a battle with the RS1/2/3 with me for favorite Alco!
Nice work...
