Found these at a flea market today...15 bucks !

Does anyone know if this box had a lid ?
Also got this house for 4 dollars.

Ver , Very , Very nice score for a flea market!! The box did not come with a lid , it came from the factory shrink wrapped like the Tyco train sets were.
A lone amature built the ark! A large group of professionals built the titanic!

hey is that Amtrak combine metal including the wheels? if it is I got the exact one except in UP scheme

Wow, I never knew the streamlined Tycos came in UP? Comon, show us some pictures, micro, please?!?
...oh, and I've always liked the look of those early Amtrak streamliners! AWESOME!!!

No those cars are all molded in plastic....(the ones in the picture)

I has no idea if it is Tyco tho cause frame wheels & trucks are metal but it has the "silloettes" (sp) like the Amtrak cars
 there is no markings on the bottom of metal frame

| Nice looking car microbusss! That is in fact a Tyco. The streamliners from the 60's and early 70's all had metal bases and trucks.

thanks DaCheez only one I got too wheels are rusty but it pulls fine rest of passenger cars are all plastic I do have that Bachmann Alaska RR set missing a truck on one car Actually I'd like to do that CP Rail passenger train (AmRoad) from Silver Streak movie starring Gene Wilder & Richard Pryor I'd prolly do that in JUST CP Rail tho good movie btw go rent or buy the DVD

I've actually never seen that movie. I'll have to watch it sometime . The CP Rail train in HO would be cool.
You could try some fine sandpaper (emery paper? :S) on the wheels. That usually seems to do the trick.
