Hi i was recently given an AHM heavy pacific that needs some tlc. Can anyone tell me if uses the same chassis as the IHC pacific and if so are the mountings the same?

Hi Paul,
The AHM and IHC locos a totally different.
Finding another AHM loco or someone parting one out would be your best bet.
There were some slight changes in the AHM Pacific through the years but most parts will interchange.
