only the name changed. These tires work very good as i have bought over 3pkg totaling 60 pcs and have used over 30 of them. You can do 10 alco 430s or roughly 6 alco 630's or a combination with a few spares. Definite improvement over rotted tires or original tyco's. They look like orthodontic rubber bands. Will post some pictures of them tomorrow for everyone

How do they affect the run of the locomotive? The traction tire thing is a band-aid on bad engineering but don't get me started. Are they the same depth as in, when installed is the locomotive canted slightly therby reducing wheel contact tracking elsewhere?

Locomotive will have a noticable improvement. Don't believe there is any wheel canting. They fit the Tyco rim perfectly=same depth but stronger and they are clear in color as tyco's were black.Edited by - Brianstyco on September 28 2007 10:02:18 PM
