Hello everyone, I am from ohio and have been in the hobby for about 2 years now and really enjoy it a lot.I don't have as much time to work on my layout as much as i would like but i do it when i can.Right now i have a 8x16 layout that i am working on and i have a lot of tyco rolling stock and tyco and life-like locomotives so this forum is right up my alley.I will need to ask a lot of question's from time to time about differant things pertaining to this hobby. So Thanks Again roger

| Welcome aboard the GREATEST FORUM for people like you and the rest of us here that enjoy running trains - bringing back memeories from our childhood-passing / sharing these memories. When i joined over a year ago there were only about 30-40 of us. Feel free to email me and the others for questions. For maintenace issues on tyco loco's-check out the maintenance section first. There is a ton of information on how to diagnose and correct running problems and if not -like you said-just ask. Love to see a picture of your layout on the forum in the layout topic section. Brian

Thank you all for the welcome and i will post some pics of my layout as soon as i get soe things done.It is nothing that great but it is mine and i have fun working at it and coming up with differant things to do on it.Right now i am getting my town together and that may take a while. This is not modeled after anything except what comes to my mind just because of where live in ohio i may get to see a train every once in a while so i am limited on mountains because it is mostly flat here but my imagination can go real far if i let it.So again thanks for the welcome and i will post some pics as soon as i have some. But one question that i have now is that i want to change wheelsets from the plastic ones i have now to metal ones and i need to know what is the best i can get or is there somewhere i can go on here to ask this question? I am really wanting to change these wheels as quick as i can because i am having some problems with some derailing. So any help with this first question would be helpful.

Here's a thread on changing wheels and couplers that may help. http://65.174.230.77/tyco/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=1489

I don't have a one track mind. It depends on the turn-out. "I love your catenary!" Is that a power-trip or just another pick-up line?
