I thought that shrinking Armadilloville from 4 x 10 to 4x4 would be just as interesting. No, it's cramped and dull watching the train spin in circles. At some point I am going to remake Armadilloville to a 4x8. I will also use Bachmann EZ track as it provides excellent reliability.

Now that is interesting! I'd be tempted to do that track plan, but my experience with grades is they cause more headaches than they are worth.
Robert Putnick was able to achieve some success with a vintage Tyco over and under set. I'd never seen one work before, and it worked flawlessly.
I'll have to stick to the water level route, and hope it doesn't flood.
