My LOTW is this tank engine with auxiliary tender:
It's an 0-6-0T made of the body of a Mantua/Tyco Booster, the frame of their Big Six and a few homemade parts to make it all match. The auxiliary tender is the water tank from a Rivarossi 3-truck Heisler riding on a Rivarossi passenger car truck. It contains pickup wipers for electrical pickup on all 4 wheels to supplement the 6-wheel pickup on the locomotive. With all those wheels on two different wheel bases picking up current, it's got pretty dependable electrical pickup. With side tanks that are solid metal, it also has nice traction and is a good strong puller for its size.
