Now there's a unique diorama! When they hit the golf ball does it go in to orbit around the moon?

From what I understand. no. The shot was made one handed, because the space suits made it very difficult. They said it was like hitting a ball from a giant sand trap with one hand. There is gravity on the moon. Just much lower than on Earth. The balls didn't go into outer space. More than likely, they're still sitting on the surface of the moon.
