Here's a tunnel I made to look 3-d. Actually, the only thing 3-d about it is the bricks around the entrance. Inside the tunnel itself is a flat image.

Cool effect, one question though, what is the tunnel passing through? The sky?

Funny. No, it's a brick tunnel. Let's say there's a river under it. I thought about maybe putting train tracks over it, or building a mountain around it. But, that would be a big job. I basically just wanted to create the effect so the cars looked like they were going somewhere, instead of just into the wall.
