Well, Brian said in his post "POST PICS OF YOUR COLLECTIONS", so, here goes.

It's been nearly 2 years since I got my first Tyco engine, and 1 year since I really started looking for them. I have managed to get 21 engines:

-2 Canadiana C430's
-2 Via F-7's
-1 CN F-7
-1 CN GP-20
-1 CPR Diesel Switcher
-1 CPR F-7
-2 Amtrak GG1's
-1 Transformers Switcher
-1 A-team Shark
-1 Spirit of 76 C430
-1 Silver Streak
-1 Golden Eagle
-1 Mask Switcher
-1 Santa Fe C430
-1 Burlington F-9
-1 General Electric Industrial Switcher
-2 Rock Island Sharks

...well, now that thats over, time for the pictures[:p]. (i left out the Burlington and CPR F-7s as they need truck frames)

And of course Barney had to be in atleast one picture...

...And thats my collection of Tyco engines.

...BUT WAIT...THERES MORE!!!!

I'm not sure how many of you are actually aware of this, but I collect Tyco streamliners as well. At the moment I have 22[:P].

...and that is what I have to show from about a year of Tyco collectiong. I do have some freight cars and matching cabooses for alot of my engines as well.

Eric -- Very cool. Nothing wrong with your cat sharing your hobby and in photo. I too -like Tony stated -- Like the way you put your streamliners to spell out Tyco. You're off to a good start -- Don't stop. I think it is great to see someone in your age group take a liking to Tyco in which i and many other forum members grew up with and recieved many christmas's with Tyco trains and accessories[:)]

Tyco engines don't cost much, they look cool, and those streamliners are awesome. I'm gonna focus more on the streamliners, and less on the engines over the next little while.

SECONDED!

You've got plenty of time to add to your collection, but you've got a nice start. I don't encounter the streamliners very often myself and they seem popular enough so you've done well.

I'd get to wielding that axe a bit more if I were you though... that'll get more public cred than trains at any rate [;)]

I got alot of these streamliners off ebay. The old ones have a metal base with no makers stamp, which gets them mislisted alot. The B&O set I got for $8 plus s/h and the ACL $20 plus s/h.

lol. Yes I need to start a band...if only my friends played instrument[B)]...

Wow....great collection you have there. You even have a "Chessie" cat! :) The Sharks are my favorites....as well as the GG1's. I have just recently re-discovered Tyco trains and with any luck will eventually have a displayable and operational collection such as yours. And like what others have said, glad to see the younger set discovering the hobby of model railroading.

Sorry, as in, how could Pokemon ever even come close to being as fun to collect and play with as trains?

That, and my two younger brothers collect them, and it drives me CRAZY!!! Really, 4 bucks a pop for 9 pieces of thin, shiny, cardboard? I've just never seen the appeal. I think my brothers' dream would be to move to Japan, so they get everything we get as far as Pokemon go, but 6 months earlier!

Wow, here's an old post! I'm almost positive I still have all the pieces pictured above. They blend in with everything else now, so it's nice to see what I started with. The guitar is still around as well!

Barney was with us until last year. There is no shortage of Barney pictures.
