The big hill had to be trimed down to all viewing of entire layout. It was just to big. I took down 2/3 of the big hill and repaired open areas created by the demolition.



Well this photo is taken from the dorway into the train room.

Outside of the hill getting resized nothing else has happened to the layout. Viewing trains running has been improved. I still have to remake the tunneled exit portals of the Penn Haven side of the layout. Two tracks enter to hill on the Rock Port side and 4 tracks exit the hill on the Penn Haven side. A little bit of simple Razal Deaiz is envolved here.

I think it's a nice improvement. The old hill was a bit imposing for the overall size of the layout. This has nice proportions.

Your town with the mountain in the background is picture perfect. And if I remember correctly, you had a yard and turntable along the back wall.
