In need of replacement motor brushes for my Tyco Talgo loco. The brushes are similar diameter to the standard Tyco brushes but are much longer with a slot across the top, anyone know where I may be able to score a pair? Thank you!

Any chance you can get some approximate measurements? I have brushes but there are lots of sizes.
I have used pencil lead in an emergency.

oh I want one of those
that may have been the one that I saw in our former club that every time it went around a U or 90 degree corner the middle would lift up & derail it might of needed weight in the middle

Thanks, really appreciate your response. I'm going to guess since the ones in there are very worn. It appears they could be about 3/8ths of an inch based on where they go and the springs, the diameter is the same as all my other Tyco brushes on other motors.. the end of the springs sit in the slot on top of the brush. Pencil led us an interesting idea!

Recent pick-up on Ebay, just got her running after several hours of work. Not sure if this one was in the club as it had about 60 years of grease and oil inside, was a poor runner, missing a coupler and had a broken screw that kept the last car from attaching itself to the middle car. You are correct about the weight but it doesn't derail. Also, I don't see any screw holes for a weight(?)
