This video is a compilation of my research into fire trucks owned by railroads in North America (US and Canada,) and to my surprise and pleasure, some have been preserved. If anyone has more information/photos about these or more railroad fire trucks, please share!

usually when a Model A is lengthened to make a truck its called a Model AA body 
how about this one from the New Jersey Transit Police by Pierce Mfg?

That is an Emergency Services Unit Truck- As noted by the ESU on the side. Plus the are no train wheels so it can "ride the rails".... I have never even heard of a fire truck that rides the rail until now....

well look under the cab behind the front left tire shure looks like a railroad wheel to me & yes that IS a Hi-Railer too!

Busss, I saw the photos of that NJ Transit Police truck (and yes, it is hi-rail, technically, and it can ride the rails.) I didn't include it because I was already in the editing stages of making this video.
Although it is a police truck, it is a heavy rescue fire truck by nature and is supposed to be able to respond to fire calls.
