Dose anyone have this problem? I find on all of my spectrum f40ph'es that the rear truck is shorter then the front truck. This came to my attention when I notaced that most of my f40's, all of which are amtrak, tend let their rear trucks follow the worng path threw the switich points with the front going threw the right way.

Sadly, this is design flaw with the Bachmann F40PH models. I don't have an example of the most recently re-tooled F40PH in the Spectrum line that was introduced a year or two ago, but my previous Spectrum models all suffer from this issue. The rear truck sits lower than the front truck, giving an uneven appearance to the loco.

Don't know any simple fix...beyond maybe considering the KATO model.
