"Crusty" runs the 1:1 units for a living, and collects many of the rolling stock he has seen over the years.
Talk about a "bus man's holiday!"

(He favors the proto-real. The Varney and Marx string is mine, going for a spin).

Count me in for running trains, today.

A manifest freight has dropped off six cars at the Crowler W. Flahar Yard, and now the various way freights are dropping them off at the lineside industries. The crew of the "Tabor Turn" is "finally playing with a full deck" as engine number 52 does the honors of delivering l.c.l. freight to the Tabor station. After a maneuver to turn the train, the tank car of fuel oil will be delivered to the bulk oil dealership, and an empty tank car will be pulled.

Crusty has quite the collection of trains, and their boxes. Wow!

shaggy, great scene!

Last week I fired up the Alpine Railway after probably a year off, and ran/filmed some of my N-Scale German trains.

Hope you enjoy!

Great stuffs, guys. That train getting stuck in Nebraska I'd not heard about. When Mother Nature
puts her foot down, she really puts her foot down.

I got to break in my Hornby Lion set this past week. Straight out of the box she shuddered
and stalled, and I was thinking oh man I'm going to have spend another $50 in shipping it
back to England, where they are having all kinds of strikes, including postal.

But once she got moving she smoothed out superbly and then demonstrated she is a fine
runner. I'll post some vid later.
