Found this set on an eBay auction a while back, thought it was interesting. Never knew that the 1978 ATSF 2-8-0 was included in a set.

An interesting array, and moreover an interesting selection of modern
rail cars to be hauled by a steamer.

1978? That's the year they introduced TruSteel - so wouldn't this be a 1977 set at the latest?

That is interesting. What is the set number stamped on the right edge of the box? I see a 1979 version w/different loco and cars, but not that set.
