My LoTW is an unbuilt ROundhouse 0-6-0 kit I found on Ebay. It is the locomotive for a series of freight and passenger car kits lettered for John Allen's Gorre & Daphetid, one of the greatest model railroads of all time. The series were limited runs, and while the cars are readily available on Ebay, the locomotive is not. I am lucky to have found one at a reasonable proce. This will be the first Steam locomotive kit I have built, luckily I have a good friend who rebuilds and paints brass locomotives as a side hustle. Now to figure out how to put a decoder in this thing as it predates DCC by many years.....

You can learn all about John Allen and the G&D here: http://www.gdlines.org/

Yes they did. I have several of them but not all. The also did two passenger trains, one 34 foot Overton cars, and one with slightly more modern 50 foot cars.

Eventually, I'll have them all. My favourites are the ore cars though.
