My SOTW is a set that I just purchased off of the Bay from a Japanese seller. The seller (like a lot of Japanese sellers selling old stuff) labeled this as "junk", which usually just means they haven't tested it (Japanese to English is weird, put simply). It's a KTM (Katsumi) set made sometime in the 1960's or 1970's, based on the packaging and styling of everything. Looking forward to seeing it. The other KTM loco I have of this style is an exquisite runner, so this one should (hopefully, based on the photos) not be too much different.I got this for like $130 with shipping just earlier today. These photos are from the listing.

Yeah, I got stuff from all over the place. England, Italy, France, Germany (West and East), China, South Korea, Japan, Switzerland, Yugoslavia, Czechoslovakia, USA, Brazil, and probably a few other places I'm missing.

Frateschi is a maker of model trains in Brazil. For a while they made some things for Model Power.

Thank you, Steve! I will be looking for it! This matching pair of the New South Wales Railway of Australia took me years of searching. Posted in honor of one our newest members, Kaptain Kaos of Australia!
Eventually, I hope to find the VR version. Maybe take another ten years, I dunno.

THAT is FANTASTIC! Is that really a GT by Tyco?? Matched up with the IC & DTI and general caboose that makes for a brilliant set. It would have flown off the shelves had Tyco had your imagination.

So, as it turns out, they don't have the actual set. The seller said they looked around the factory but couldn't find it.Ah, well, it is what it is.
