Hornby did a new version of the iconic Rocket. Shown here on Henley, which is undergoing
a major mega rebuild.

A video of a Rocket Frolic, with contemporary John Bull, British built for export to the Camden and Amboy, in Frank's neck of the woods. The original Bull did not have a pilot beam in Britain, as the rail was a superior design. The pilot was added for the American market which had a rough strap iron steel upon rough hewn logs.

Got this in the mail this week. My son in law bought it for me. It's a little rough, but it's practically all there and it does run. Engine needs couplers to haul freight, and I'm skittish about replacing them. (Metal coupler pockets),

This is the set "Super Action Freight", and is catalog number 7648. it's not listed in ANY Tyco Catalog, but there's a second number: 926 - 9945. THAT number corresponds exactly to the catalog number in the 1972 J C Penney Christmas Wishbook. It was a Penney's exclusive for that year only.

It had a Conrail hopper when I got it, but I swapped that out for the Hershey reefer instead. Also, every piece of track was brass ATLAS snap-track.
