Here's a Life Like elevated platform that I have been bashing and adding more and more lengths. Each kit is 9" to equal a section of track.

The track section is the classic Atlas box girder bridge with the one side cut off.

Originally built it as a two unit, I recently added a third section, so here is where it stands currently.

To save layout space I am dispensing with the staircases, so those will be cut from the platform

Love the graininess of Walt's night shots. Makes me think of hot, humid,
July nights in Zanesville! The elevated platform is a standout visual
element.

Hi Folks! I've been lying low lately but thought I would present the Grand Opening of Sammy's Donuts. A Christmas present from the wife and named for our four legged companion.

I'll bet the owners of the produce stand across the street are none too happy! I like the whole scene, Gary B.

Sammy's is a great build! Nicely done. I have been waiting to build my kit of that donut stand, but I have to experiment with real jimmies and clear coat to see if they will or will not dissolve with adhesive and clear overcoat. To my eyes, that donut is just begging to have real jimmies sprinkled on it.

Ditto to what El Rojo said, and may I say the close in photography
is dreamlike.

Typically, anything organic and sweet, like flour or sugar attracts
buglife, but that clear cote ought to freeze them out! I wonder
what archeologists will say about it in a thousand years!!!

Thanks guys. I thought rice might work better for jimmies as you call them, but decided to leave my donut without them. I didn't want to mess it up after my lettering came out as well as it did.
