I think we're going to need some clarification on this item.

The train races are only Lionel and I think they actually provide the locos. AND it's just for kids.
HOWEVER, it would be more fun in HO scale where it would be BYOE- Bring Your Own Engine. Imagine 4 or 5 Athearn Hustlers in a shootout down the track!.
I have attended this show without fail for about 6 years (maybe more) but I sat this one out... too many shows and LHSs. I hate to admit that to some of you who have no opportunities for train meets or LHSs.
In just a few months will be my train mecca in Kutztown, PA. Renninger's Fleamarket has two open air pavilions which they turn into monthly train shows without an entrance fee. They are called Flash Train Meets. They started this in fall 2020 as Covid restrictions started loosening up. Granted, only manly men were there in Nov and Dec battling the cold temps to find more train junk, but we were true warriors! And my friends and I have never been disappointed with what we dragged out of there. I think the madness starts up again in April or May. Here's their webpage for last year's schedule so Mid-Atlanticans- keep your browser pointed to this URL for updates:
https://renningers.net/?s=flash+train
And I will see you there!

Sorry about that, but I figure full disclosure is best. If I sorta kinda tried, I could be featured on one of those hoarding shows! Between CDs and trains I’m getting to the point of no return!

I went to the Allentown Pennsylvania show with Frank. My photos.
We stopped at the diner along route 78. Clinton New Jersey near the Pennsylvania border. Has a former CNJ observation car as part of the diner.
Train show at the Agri Plex in the Allentown Fairgrounds outside town.
Over 200 dealers and hundreds more customers at the show yesterday.
Tempting but a bit expensive. Both items that is.
Old Lionel train set for $125. Dealer mentioned $100 if I was interested in it.
