I just looked at a picture I took of one of the many "General Lee" cars and I'm pretty sure that's what it is. There were, behind the scenes, many of them because there were many being repaired while they damaged some more in filming the series. The one I saw was a true Bondo buggy reflecting the stunts like the one being modeled.
