anyone having this problem?
this is what I been seeing for 2 weeks or so! 
just a black screen with the loading circle going for a super long time until I get the error screen 
this is WHY I haven't been commenting or seeing new posts

Have to remember that this is an older forum on an older server.
Overloaded with huge amount of posts and pictures.
Plus the pictures are directly on this forum.
A photo host site would put less pressure on this site.
Still it is on line so enjoy.

Fortunately, it's a hobby site and is not moment to moment critical. If it's down some, or even a lot, we'll all get by until it's back up.

Also incorrect. There was an error on the site. The site is extremely fast, powerful and on a backbone.

How long was it hosed up? Good couple of weeks. It would come on
for maybe two hours at random times, WKS thinks it would turn on about 5 am EST, but I am not sure. This last time I was pretty sure the Forum was gone for good and am pleasantly surprised to see it back. Unfortunately, it has developed a reputation for outages, and this has caused a precipitous loss in participation, and it was just starting to recover from last year's prolonged outage where we all thought it was gone for ever.

I'll be working on this. I want to move the VM to another host (hardware) and location to rule those items out. I'm not getting much in the way of error messages on the server.
There may be extended down time when I'm moving this (Estimate about 45 minutes).
I do see it crashing quite frequently. I'll spend what spare time I have on this. I can also setup a script to restart the web service which fixes it temporarily as a workaround for the time being.
