The life of a train nut. I sold off an identical packaged set of this same item in CN, and got a lousy 10 clams for it. Like new condition and ran most sweetly. So, while I'm posting my feeBay ad, I see this NOS in CP. By crimminies, I swore a blue streak that I would not buy any more North American stuff, Tyco or otherwise, unless it was a one in a million. So I put it out of my mind, but could not forget. Gave the seller a low ball offer that he threw back in my face. Waited a bit, and sure enough he lowered it down another 15% and I just couldn't say no. Sell one, buy another. I know, it's only rock and roll, but I like it.
The only reason I thinned out my nice CN F9 was because it was kind of redundant. It wasn't a great hauler, and I had a much stronger Model Power unit in CN and a bunch of CN cabooses.
I enjoyed some awesome years as a Canadian, and anything with a "wet noodle" or a "Pacman" grabs my heart strings. Speaking of which, where you at Canada Mike? We need another Mike Strike 'round here.
