Working on this cardstock low relief building. Made by a British outfit by the name of "SuperQuick." What I really need is something from an outfit called "SuperStupid," for people like me. Anyways, it's definitely holding my attention. Has as many pieces as an AHM kit, just that it's all paper and cardstock. Quite popular in Britain where space is tight and budgets relatively small. People who are really good at this get astonishing results. In the end it is supposed to look like this:
Hah, hah. We will see. Hopefully, it won't look like an oversized pigeon coop.

Actually, the clothespins were an inspiration. The different bits would unstick as quickly as they were stuck, and I stumbled over these clothespins that had been sitting and forgotten about for decades in the garage. They came into fine use. I'm getting along, just have lots of bits of molding left over, and if I can figure out where they go, this won't be SuperBad.
The trickiest part was getting the semi tubular bay front to behave while the glue is setting, but even that appears to be on the road to success.

I've built those twice, along with their really nice theatre, once as a teen and a few years back now. Never stayed together right. I've built other cardstock models that came out great. Ended up dumping them twice.

Can't wait to see the finished product, Chops. Some cardstock buildings look really nice and almost as good as plastic models.
The Schuylkill Valley Station and "Nazareth Crossing" combined, just to be called Schuylkill Valley Station, on the Ephrata Valley RR 4'x8'.
