My LOTW offering is an acquisition from today's Greenberg's Great Train & Toy Show visit, a Tyco/RSO Chattanooga 0-8-0 steam locomotive. Towards the end of line for Tyco (late '80's, early '90s) Tyco substituted Yugoslavia-made locomotives and train cars into their popular sets, the Chattanooga Choo-Choo and Rock Island diesel sets in particular. This steam locomotive was made by RSO, and shares a drive system and shell mold very similar to those used by IHC on their Mikados, and since it was sold by Tyco, it is technically the strongest and most reliable Tyco steam locomotive ever made, aside from maybe those made by Mantua and sold under the Tyco name.

That's a great find, RP - and I did not know that Tyco used Mehano locos for their later Chattanooga locos.
You are right, that should be a good-running steamer!

Sweet Tyco! Given it's proportions though, it should be a Berk!

Thanks guys!

gmoney, yes, actually, it greatly resembles an IHC/Mehano 2-8-2 Mikado, just without the leading and trailing wheel sets.

Or the valve gear. Tyco kept getting cheaper and cheaper, even on the outsourced stuff.
