& just for fun one of them Cat's Meow flat wood buildings that is local to the area
the last line is a lie as there are a few lighthouses in Nebraska
these do make neat background buildings on train layouts

I've had the EXXON station for many years now. It makes a nice little kit when detailed some. I got the Life-Like EXXON light poles to go with it.

I had a pair of those EXXON signs back in the 70's, But the 11 year old me ran them off track power and melted a hole in them along with the roof for my TYCO factory.

In the town of Ashley close to the turntable, the motel there is a big hit with tourists having an outdoor pool to cool off in these hot summer days. While in the background the B&O Royal Blue set rolls by. "The Plasticville Motel".
The HObbyline freight cars in yard track 3 are one's acquired in the last 2 weeks. I still get them if the price is right.

I have a tan collered Motel office building with a pool but nothing else in tan. I saw this red one boxed and all complete at Golden Nugget Flea Market Saturday and got it. I Didn't know they made it in red.

The Armadillo Nuclear Power Plant. In a nod to Spiderman, long extinct prehistoric animals, exposed to the isotopes in Fogite and U 237 have brought fearsome beasts back to life: the T Rex, threatening to eat the church, Giant Armadillos that can stop a train, Teradactyls grabbing children and dogs off the streets, ' escaped circus animals stampeding the hospital. WE HAVE IT UNDER CONTROL. (not)

A bit of fantasy, apparently. The naturally occurring isotopes of uranium are 234, 235 and 238.
There's another isotope that can be made from vanadium in a breeder reactor, but I've forgotten what it is and can't handily find it.

Busss, you da man! Seems a bit hard to get, but there it is. Oddly, it mentions thorium and all kinds of acids and things, but I never saw any Fogite mentioned in the article. Could be that there's a military secret or a coverup, perhaps.

That is quite some article. I read it, just out of curiousity, and have absolutely no idea what I read, other than they may have synthesized previously non-existent bits of elements??
