Today, I completed a project I've been working towards for the past few months, but just finally got the opportunity to spray-paint last week here in PA. I still will be spraying a gloss coat over the finished shells in the future, but here's my completed Monongahela Sharks, beginning with photos of the real locomotives. #1205 and #1216 would later be purchased by the Delaware & Hudson as #1205 and #1216, and are the sole survivors of all Baldwin Sharknose species. I am really proud of how these turned out.

WOW, those are da bomba!! Love that iconic photo of the fireman
gazing down from the cab- so '60's.

Busss, the last surviving RF-16s are still stored in a garage on the private property of a Michigan short line - Escanaba & Lake Superior RR, for the past 30 some years. But, the good news is, the owner of the railroad announced last year they will be going to a railroad museum, it is just a matter of when.

Busss - That would be cool, but truly, I really hope that they get restored to their Delaware & Hudson RR scheme in my lifetime. I'd love to see them in person.......

Coal tipple on the Monongahela right-of-way. Looks familiar...
I didn't even know this railroad even existed- turns out it started as a joint venture between the PLE, NYC, and
PRR primarily as a coal hauler and went from 1901 to 1993, as a corporate entity. It was quite an enterprise.
