Pleasant hours working on Mormon's Gulch. Plasticville Old West kit looks a little better than
Plasticville with a touch of highlighting and added painted detail. I used a wash of used paint
thinner to bring out the wood grain effect. Getting a little better at hand painting 1/87 figures,
too. I find that dabbing the paint on rather than trying to brush it on allows the paint to find
the natural contours.
Not sure exactly where to place the finished structures, but this seems about right, very close
to the railroad tracks, like the Netflix series, "Hell on Wheels." The latter, BTW, is actually pretty
good theatre and is based on many real personages from history. The train shots are particularly
well done. I will warn, however, it is definitely "R" rated.
