Hey Guys:
From observation or other knowledge; as in a trusted source, does anyone know if an end cab switcher; like an Alco S-4 or EMD SW1200 in building up a train or breaking one down in a yard, whether it's more likely to face the long hood toward the cars it's pushing/pulling or the cab?
Thanks, Gareth

| The local CSX switcher that brings the cement cars to our plant and box cars to the beer distributor directly across from us has had the switcher engine-lead-sw1500 hood to rear facing cars pushing them into our plant. It is always hooked up with an GP38 or GP40.

Hi Brian:
So long hood of the SW faces the cars as they are pushed?
