Changes have been made. I am on the way to a running layout again. The hinged bridge has been repaired. The yard redesigned. Still, work to do on the wiring and completing the inside track. My control cabinet also needs work replacing the switch my shoulder damager while standing up from kneeling. 8 to 10 switches need replacement. I took a series of photos showing the layout now. frank

Looking forward to the video. Did that consist find a way to reverse itself, as in an out-and-back? I still think your main scene looks like Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania, though I've never been there.

Well, I have restored the older section back to where I have two loops running around the big hill. These loops through the use of a pair of Diamonde, crossovers. I have also kept the Y turnaround at Penn Haven for reversing complete trains. Now if I can only get going on the control panel and where to put it. frank

Great stuff! Seen many a pictorial, but have never seen a collection of this depth and breadth of early RTR HO, or anything like it.

Hey Jeff, Richy, and you too Bob Thank you for the good wishes and I hope we all make it through this pandemic and get lots more train time. For me, I would like to get this layout wired finally and move on to the Ashley roundhouse build. Then the Ashley locomotive assembly and repair building. I am still hoping to make them both full size in scale. I'll tackle those things all in their own turn. I made this video today. It is a little large and Flicker wouldn't save it full size. I had to post it on Youtube. You will see all my different HObbyline freight cars in the mew enlarged Ashley yard. frank

I am finally done with my HObbyline FM H12-44 lettered to copy the ATSF model I haven't acquired yet. HObbyline H12-44 ATSF #1070 is the locomotive. I used an all black Model #1000 road name HObbyline. This is my fill-in Santa Fe H12-44 till I get an original. I have this H12-44 running well now. frank
