here are some very interesting athearn kitbuilt coaches that I got at the train room in albequrque about a year ago they were in a box of old rolling stock and I decided to get them they were the only coaches that I could find so I bought them they were $2 each they are custom and have been painted and decaled for the Illinois Western railroad. From what I have found on the internet this was not a real railroad I am not sure what railroad these were lettered for before but They were a red color on the unpainted inside if anyone knows please tell me! here are pics:

here is the inside color:

Very neat! Is that your layout? I like the dual level you got
going on, that's very visually dynamic.

As soon as I get some extra heavyweights, I'm doing a paint scheme like this!

Erik, major cool stuff! I saw Herby the Love Bug, one of my favorite
automobiles ever, the Abominable Snowman, the NH passenger
rake (don't ever let that one go, that is some prime real estate),
and the clever use of a bilevel baseboard. I've never seen that
particular technique used before, ever. Seen multi level layouts,
but with a large gap between so one is supposed to see two
different stacked layouts. Your technique brings the two layouts
into one. This is a technique I may copy, from you, on my
next Ye Olde Weste Layout. I've been wondering about a way
to increase the action without quadrupling the complexity.

BTW, The Siding, whom you know, is looking to give away
some free trestles- and the tall ones might span the nice
area where you are using Lego supports. Just saying.

Fantastic work, you really bring a new angle to the
trains.

Uh, there appears to be some guy's head hanging off the wall??
