Wow, too cool. Remember to hit the whistle sound on the bill board now and again. Also, consider blending in a few stills of individual pieces; this little hack gives the viewers a frame of reference. Consider adding an opening title page, using a still of the locomotive. Just my two cents.

Good suggestions. Will take note for a "reprise" version of this video....
I always used to do opening title pages...but they didn't seem to help my videos at all. I stopped using them, and have gotten more interest from viewers....

In re-examining videography of the EVRR, it occurred to me that the train in just about any video, from the micro EVRR to a whopping size aerodrome layout, appears for only a few seconds before passing through the frame. Same in prototype filmography. Now you see it, now you don't.
Thus, for videography, depth of field and angle is the key, both elements you do well in EVRR series. Inserting stills of the equipment helps the viewer know what he is looking for as the train goes past.

I had thought the same. I was telling RP that it may be better to always have the train on screen, but then I think (although I don't think this is intentional) as a kid watching Tyco trains go around a circle of track, you would see them, and then not. Now I look at it that way and it makes more sense.

Depth of field and angle, that's what makes a good video from my standpoint. I've tried following the train along as it makes the rounds, and in the background of the sound track there is inevitable sound of crashing metal chairs, scuffling, and the occasional curse word...like BLARX!
But seriously, I can only watch my trains do the circle dance for only so long before I want to video tape the action; make something of it.
In EVRR, the long, steady framed shots, where the train passes and passes works for me, because the level of detail and scenery is such that it allows me a pause to take that in before a beautiful Tyco consist sweeps past.
What I enjoyed so much about BLRX is the combination of carpet and scenery. It is like two parallel universes, and the change up is amusing and engrossing.
BLRX has a strong element of "Gumby," a 1960's animated TV show featuring a rubber stick figure, his horse Pogo, and shots of a model train laying its own track as it shoots across the carpeted landscape.
This is a brief clip from "Gumby the Movie," where the producers upgraded the train to a nicely done layout:

BLARX is going to be my new curse word.
The carpet Blaxland is done now that I have my table. It was only temporary. Thank you!

Thanks guys! Yes, I have to say my basic video style is a 3 minute production, at the least, showing 3 different angles or views, of the same train running down the tracks. Sometimes I do more takes, which makes some videos longer, but most follow the same format, and I've found that the transition to the next part of the layout I film comes right in time, to keep viewers interested, and myself interested.
Sometimes, I try to move with the train, as Alex suggested, rather than just sit the camera still in one place, and that has actually really improved my video quality! Especially with steam locomotives like the latest on my 2nd Tyco Chattanooga 2-8-0.
