My SOTW will be the Life-Like Amtrak passenger car set that I found at a local swap meet. It's not Tyco, but it's a passenger set like I've always wanted. I don't have an Amtrak locomotive, but I think my City of San Fransico is probably close enough. If only it ran forward.

There's a classic little HO set!
My SotW is the current line-up on the layout, a Tyco streamliner set matched to a pair of Athearn rubber band F7s.
Let's see if the video works...

Youtube usually works for me, that was an Imgur upload. I guess the forum doesn't like those. I'll upload again later.

Holy Snow Bird, Batman! You've actually got the rare Athearn Snow Bird paint scheme of those F's. Having lived in (former) NH territory, I had to have them. Haggled on eBay and finally got them, at full price. It is said that the scheme was an Athearn fantasy. Mais non:

A magnificent Boston to New York express, it was an attempt to compete with Interstate 95, which is a deadly, traffic choked scar upon the landscape, famous for a bridge collapse that wasted half a dozen souls. However, this sleek, rapid, safe train was suffocated at infancy, like all the great Fallen Flags, by the Great American Interstate System. Since 1900, every one wanted a car.
This fine train ended up as a ride in an amusement park in Georgia, if memory doesn't fail. New Haven was the smallest class 1 railroad in its day, and its passenger service was superb, before the Interstate.

My three rebodied Athearn F's are all powered, A, B, and A to pull this 35 car Tyco train. It never dawned on me to put it on point with my Tyco NH coaches, gift from RP. Anyways, beautiful set.
The little bouncy bounce on the opening of the F units starting from a dead stop is the torque required to move this load.

There's a big HO train! It's certainly a pretty paint scheme. I found that pair at the LHS earlier this year and upgraded the motor. The rubber-band power-train makes it a quiet runner.

I got this actually last week, but am just getting around to showing. It arrived in it's original shipping box addressed to a person at Wilson Foods.

Great sets this week, all!
WillV, that Wilson Foods set is awesome - please do share pics of the original box once you get it in!
A little late to the party, but here's my "set" of shiny chrome Tyco Santa Fe "Warbonnet" F9's, (powered A-unit / dummy B-unit.) The chrome finish is in good shape on both, and I can't wait to run these on RETRO TYCO soon.

Interesting box....and wow, the original address of the store and to whom it was sent to, is still there. Incredible. Loving these Tyco history vibes.

I believe there is a TYSON Fresh Meats plant at that location now. It's the only meat packing plant on the Highway 35 bypass
